11/12/2008 PRA Members - NEW MEETING LOCATION! Our next club meeting takes place Monday
- Nov 17, 2008 at 7:00pm at the Log Cabin Restaurant.
The Log Cabin Restaurant is located at 2445 West Walworth Rd., Macedon NY
(At the intersection of West Walworth Rd. and route 31F). We will
be holding club officer elections at this meeting.

10/23/2008 Our Hare Scramble Race takes place Sunday, November 2, 2008!
In addition to all the great Motorcycle and Quad Racing we are proud to
announce an Observed Trials Event on the same day! That's right! Two
events for a single $10 admission! So come on down and enjoy Hogback
Hill's last race day of the 2008 racing season!

8/13/08 Attention Pee-Wee riders! PRA is going to
be adding a new MX class to the race lineup this Sunday, August
17th. The new race class is for 4-8 year old's riding stock
PW50's only. This class emphasizes rider ability on an affordable
motorcycle!

Hill Climb in Avoca, NY on 6/15/2008! His bike takes a beating but he

6/15/2008 We had a nice turnout for the Camp and Ride in
spite of the light rain that fell throughout the day. The rain couldn't
stop the fun including the adult pit bike race on the peewee track or a
nice trials bike demo by Mike Pinkney and Mr. Porretta. Eric Zinter and
Bill McMahon did a great job with the food! Check out the PICTURES
of the 2008 PRA Club Camp and Ride!
6/13/08 Our next WNYMA Motocross race is Sunday, June
29, 2008. Following that is our Second Annual GP Race on
Friday, July 4, 2008! A mixture of MX track and wide trails along
with the Team/Individual format, has made this a very popular event! Don't

5/19/08 The open practice to benefit Joe Nothnagle was a
great success! The rain held off until 2:00pm, the track was PERFECT and
we raised $4,200 to help Joe. On behalf of the PRA board, I want to thank
all the people who volunteered their time, hard work and money to make
this event possible and especially to Mark Crane of Mark's Pizzeria for
donating all the sheet pizza for the event! All that, plus a great day of

4/29/08 Palmyra Racing Association is having an OPEN
PRACTICE on Saturday, May 17, 2008 from 10:00am to 2:00pm to benefit
fellow rider and PRA life member Joe Nothnagle! The donation is $30 per
rider or $10 per spectator. Includes lunch at 2:00pm! This practice is
open to EVERYONE, so come on out and bring your MX friends to ride for a
good cause!
4/21/08 PRA Life Member, Joe Nothnagle was diagnosed
with Stage IV Brain Cancer and is in for the fight of his life. He has
been undergoing expensive medical treatments and NEEDS OUR HELP! Erin
Mullally has organized a Harley Sportster Raffle with the proceeds to
benefit Joe. A 2008
Harley Custom 1200 Sportster will be given away to some lucky rider on
June 20, 2008. Tickets are $20 each and are available by calling
315-548-4551, ask for Erin. Tickets will also be sold at the May 11, 2008
Palmyra WNYMA MX race.
4/10/07 The PRA club meeting originally scheduled for April
14th has been moved to Monday, April 21, 2008 at
7:00pm at the PAVILION! Also, the
2008 membership letters should be out in the next couple weeks so don't be
concerned if you haven't received yours yet.
4/5/08 Pictures of the First Workday & Clambake! See what you

3/20/08 The first PRA workday (originally scheduled for
this Saturday, March 22) has been postponed due to the weather
until Saturday, April 5, 2008! Please make a note of the new date
on your calendars! Hope to see you there

Racing Association is pleased to announce the creation of a new pee-wee
class – “50-110cc Play Bike Beginner”. The goal of this class is to let
beginner-level kids gain experience in racing motocross on play bike

Pro-Motocrossers Paul Carpenter (#37), Bobby Kiniry (#54) and Jack
Carpenter (#873) did some pre-race track testing by special invitation at
Hogback Wednesday morning. They really liked the track. I couldn't help
but be impressed by these guys respectful, hard working, down to earth
demeanor. You couldn't ask to meet nicer people! Here's a few pictures

forms here!6-11-2007 The Baja SAE, Rochester World Challenge
sponsored by R.I.T. was held at Hogback Hill this last weekend and was a
huge success! There were 141 schools competing from as far away as South
Africa and South America. I received several compliments from people who
were very impressed with our facility. There was excellent news coverage
and I believe our own Pete Phillips did a short interview with a local
news station. WXXI is doing a 1 hour documentary which follows one of the
teams from start to the final race at Hogback Hill! No word yet on when it
will be televised. Take a look at the article from Sunday's Democrat & Chronicle. Here's
some pictures of the event!
5-23-07 The first MX
race on the NEW Pee-Wee track gets rave reviews! The kids who raced
were treated to a 2 hour practice session after their motos as the races
finished early due to the fact that the Pee-Wee track operates
independently of the MX track. Take a look at race day pictures!
5-3-07 We are looking
to borrow old PRA pictures, movies and other historical PRA memorabilia we
can use to tell the story of Palmyra Racing Association. We hope to get
enough material to create a video, documenting the history of the club. So
dig out those old photo's, home movies and pictures of your PRA MX friends
with funny 70's haircuts, open face helmets and lamb chop sideburns. Send
your submissions to Jay
Bond.
4-23-07 Spring is
finally here! It's hard to believe there's only 3 weeks until our first
race on Sunday, May 13. Don't forget about the next club meeting on
Monday, May 7, at the pavilion at 7:00pm. Here's some pictures of the
track for your enjoyment from Saturday 4/21.
3/26/07 We had a nice
turnout for our first workday. We accomplished quite a bit including
rebuilding/painting/staining the new pee-wee bleachers and some work on
the shed. The food was great! We had 80 dozen clams, barbeque chicken,
hotdogs and hamburgers. Here's a few pictures

4-7-06 Thanks to all that came out and made our first
work day a success. Things have started to take shape for the '06 season
and Saturday was a great start. If the track conditions Sunday are any
indication were in for a great year of riding. I would personally like to
thank a few people for there help in making the return of the clam bake a
huge success: Ben and Donna Barry for their clamming expertise, Skip Niles
the fastest man on a grill and Eric Zinter for his superior skills with a
shopping cart. Take a moment and check out the pictures
