8-12-11 The 2011 PRA Camp & Ride weekend turned out to be a lot of fun for everyone! One of the highlights, was the trail bike races held on the Pee-Wee track, complete with prizes for the winners. There was a lot of intense friendly competition as bragging rights were hotly sought after. Bill McMahon was kind enough to supply some PICTURES (Bill's) from the morning activities and Jay Bond took some PICTURES (Jay's) later in the day as well. Hope everyone enjoys them!

8-2-11 Greetings to all. The Camp and Ride is this weekend, and it looks to be a beauty. We will need some assistance with rock picking and watering Friday night, so all those that can help please do. Also we plan on a large community bonfire, so if you have spare wood laying around, bring it up for Saturday night.  It will be positioned in front of the mini-track entrance. The catered affair will commence with riding at 11:00, a industrial slip and slide, games and dinner at 4:00 with door prizes.. Look forward to seeing you there. ~Chris Hoffmeier

7-18-11 Wow what an exciting and exhausting day out at the park. With the temperature peaking at about 92, and the racing getting very hot, I have to start out for thanking all those that helped the day go so smoothly. With a small electrical problem hampering our efforts first thing in the morning, we had a variety of assistance from members and visitors alike to get power to the tower and the rest rooms.. Again a very sincere thanks to all that assisted in this small dilemma. Through all the drama, we lost only 15 minutes and were extremely happy with the turnout on such a tropical day. Just an excellent demonstration of mx throughout the day on a very difficult track. The senior mini class, amateur class and novice class were just exciting. I would like to remind all members, that the Camp and Ride is approaching.  Make sure to include the weekend of August 6th and 7th in your plans for the park. We have some fun ideas for the weekend, including a catered affair, a massive slip and slide, and a "custom" bonfire. Thank you again to all those involved with a great race day, from the flaggers, to the riders, to the track crews that made a dust track that hadn't seen rain for a month, into a very rideable, enjoyable day. See you at the track! ~Chris Hoffmeier

7-11-11 Good Morning All.  A reminder that tonight is the meeting at the track for the upcoming race weekend. Hope to see as many of you in attendance as possible.  This weekend looks to be beautiful, so lets make it an event to remember. Another reminder that our annual camp and ride is coming in August (6th and 7th).  Lets think of some fun events and send them to my attention. If there is anyone that can get their hands on industrial strength plastic contact me - I'm picturing a killer downhill slip and slide! ~Chris Hoffmeier

5-31-11 HONDA CONTINGENCY AT HOGBACK! WNYRacing starts out their 11 race Summer Series and AMRA continues their Summer Outlaw Series on Sunday June 5, at the newly re-designed Hogback Hill.  This weekend, there's again one more HONDA Contingency and Dunlop Tire Day for all 50cc classes.  Senior 50 riders are racing on the big track! Come ride the track that all were raving about the last time we were there! Are you ready?

5-26-11 The meeting for the June 5th race day will be held Tuesday Night at the track, 7:00PM.  This will be May 31st. Have a safe and enjoyable Holiday weekend and we'll see you at the track. ~Chris Hoffmeier

5-4-11 Come out this weekend and experience a track that's been part of Western New York's motocross scene for over 40 Years! PRA members have been working long hours on track changes since the snow melted. Close to half of the big track now has a different look and flow, which should make for some very exciting racing this Sunday. Even the Piggyback Hill received changes for all of our 50 racers!

WNYRacing and the PRA welcomes AMRA Inc. and their "Outlaw Series" to the 2nd of 10 Dual District races. AMRA Inc. has a very dedicated rider base, and we're excited to have their racers line up with us this weekend at "The Hill".  This weekend's WNYRacing race also is the 3rd of 4 YAMAHA Contingency Races!

Also, this weekend's Dunlop Tire Day featured classes are 65cc 7-9, 65cc 10-11, 65cc 7-11, Sr. Mini, & Open Mini. Each first place winner will receive a Dunlop Geomax Rear Tire mailed directly to their front door...

4-28-11 Notice to all members out at the track - the mini track is undergoing some change and dozer work.  We ask that all stay off the mini track until the work is completed so that we may finish the updating and changes in the quickest fashion.  Thank You. ~Chris Hoffmeier

Track and woods will be open for riding after 2:00pm.  We have a lot to accomplish.  If you have chainsaws please bring them as we have some trees to cleanup.  We apologize for any confusion over the cancellation of last weeks work day. Looks like the weather will be holding up for us.

Track Changes - We have some track work being done over the next couple weeks so if you are riding be aware of the equipment on and around the track.

Clam Bake - We are looking for someone who would like to lead this activity. We have moved the clambake to Saturday April 16. Our intent is to hopefully have some better weather and participation. We also think the riding will be much better also! If you are interested in leading this please contact Bill McMahon.

Thanks, PRA Board
