50 – 110cc Play Bike Beginner Class
 
The Palmyra Racing Association is pleased to announce the creation of a new pee-wee class – “50-110cc Play Bike Beginner”. The goal of this class is to let beginner-level kids gain experience in racing motocross on play bike classified dirt bikes.


The following is an outline of the class:

  • This class is all about kids getting introduced to our sport in a FUN environment with less focus on competition!
     
  • Motorcycles are limited to play bike classified dirt bikes.
          (maximum engine size is 110cc, no pitbikes).
  The following list, details the motorcycles that are legal in this class:
 
  1. Yamaha TTR50, TTR90, PW50, PW80, TTR110
  2. Honda CRF50, CRF70, CRF80, CRF100
  3. Kawasaki KDX50, KLX110
  4. Suzuki DRZ110
  5. Additional motorcycles may be legal in this class as determined by the PRA officials.
 
  • Age group is for kids 4-10 years old.
     
  • Class is limited to beginner level riders.
     
  • No riders racing the 65cc class or any of the 51cc classes are eligible.
     
  • Bikes legal in the 51cc Senior Class are not eligible for the new class.
     
  • Races are held on the new pee-wee track, with moto's in the regular pee-wee rotation after the 51cc Senior class.
     
  • This is not a points class, but plaques will be given to the top 1/3 overall finishers up to 10th place.
     
  • Sign up fee is $20.This class is all about kids getting introduced to our sport in a FUN environment with less focus on competition!
